I recently purchased a demo Bates Artiste saddle from Bonnetts Saddlery and honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Gary and Greg were fantastic to deal with from start to finish. It’s lovely to come across a family-run business that takes such pride in looking after its customers. The customer service was genuine, helpful and above and beyond what I expected.

Living in Queensland, I was pleasantly surprised to receive free express freight. The saddle arrived well packed and I was blown away by all the extra goodies included: a Wintec Miracle Girth, spare gullet, Bates cap, Bates Leather Dressing and a Bates Artiste saddle cover. They even fitted the gullet for me before sending it!

It’s the little extras and the thought that goes into an order that really make a difference. Gary and Greg made the whole process easy and enjoyable and I really appreciate the care they took.

10/10. The site consultation could not have been more impressive. Gary provided an insight into his vast knowledge to assist with the correct saddle purchase and being a better horse owner. He is knowledgeable, ethical, and integral with all advice tailored to your level knowledge and skill. I purchased numerous items and all are of exceptional quality and a perfect fit. Needing help in finding a saddle for my hard to fit horse, I had no hesitation in going to Bonnetts again for advice! I can highly recommend their knowledge and advice, customer service, pricing and after sales follow up and care! Greg suggested several saddles and I now have a very happy pony (and rider) with a saddle that fits both perfectly 😊

Contacted Gary and Greg re coming out to Birdwood to do a saddle fit consult as I wasn’t confident my current saddle still fitted as well as it should due to my horse’s changed shape as he grew (in height and width! )
We received excellent advice and recommendations on how to customise his current saddle, paired with a customised blanked to provide the best fit for his comfort. These customisations were completed and ready for pickup within 24 hours.
