Wirraway Homestead is a not-for-profit school camp and school holiday campsite based just outside Strathalbyn, South Australia and is now owned and operated by Baptist Care SA.
Camps run throughout the year in school terms and school holidays.
Wirraway offers an opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities on 180 acres of countryside, staying in buildings arranged in a beautiful “Australian Settler” setting and to experience the love and acceptance that come’s from our Staff.
Qualified staff organise the activities, cater, and run all aspects of the programme.
For some camps (depending on the programme) we also run orienteering, long distance archery, hikes, and an educational tool to explain the sun and stars and how they work, called Pipehenge.
Free time activities include mini golf, volleyball, basketball and some indoor games including eight ball and table tennis in our ‘Livery Stable’.
