Koolyangarra Equestrian Centre is situated on 11 acres in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, 5 minutes from Stirling and 15 minutes from the Toll Gate at the foot of the SE freeway.
A relaxing and calm environment is provided with a full sized sand arena.
From beginner children at 3 years or a beginner adult, Koolyangarra will provide a safe and nurturing environment to teach you the skills needed for a partnership with a horse or pony.
The riding school – The focus of training is on relaxation and rhythm as the key elements of the German training scale.
The student is taught to recognize the horse’s body language, so any conflict is dealt with quickly and calmly.
Children’s lessons also include the use of music and lots of games.
It is important to have the rider relaxed in order for the horse to be relaxed.
Lisa Finn is an accredited Equestrian Australian Level 1 coach and registered with the National coaching Accreditation Scheme.
She has been riding for over 20 years with dressage being her main interest.
