Arena saddles feature all of the benefits of Horse and Rider Technology… we call this HART.

Horse and Rider Technology

…we call this HART

The technology that makes up HART is proven to be transformative for horse and rider:

Protective cushioning: CAIR Cushion System

Precision custom fit: EASY-CHANGE Fit Solution

Ergonomic flex: Elastiflex Tree

Free movement: Performance panel technology

Superior rider performance: Comfort seat technology

Only if a saddle has all of these features, is it worthy of the HART badge.

Together the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System and the EASY-CHANGE Riser System offer a total fitting solution for your horse’s absolute comfort and your peace of mind.

Firstly all adjustments are measurable, symmetrical and completely reversible.

Secondly ensuring total confidence in your ability to custom fit your saddle to your horse’s changing shape for optimal comfort and performance.

The revolutionary CAIR Cushion System replaces the traditional fillings in your saddle panel with air.

As a result there are two independently sealed air Cushions within each saddle panel.

Moreover the concept of air, as the ultimate in cushioning for your horse, is simple.

Therefore Air being a fluid medium will constantly adapt to the horse’s working muscles.

This means that your weight will be distributed evenly across the entire length of the cushion, virtually eliminating pressure points.

In conclusion this extraordinary comfort results in freer movement, better carriage, and a happier horse.

For such a simple concept the dramatic difference the CAIR Cushion System makes to your horse’s comfort and performance is profound.

Supported by an Easy Change Gullet, the Elastiflex Tree features a rigid head to maintain clearance over your horse’s wither.

Moreover while possessing lateral flexion to work with your horse’s muscular movement with every stride.

Precision engineered to be lightweight, symmetrical and ultra durable the Elastiflex Tree is guaranteed against breakage for the lifetime of your saddle.

(under normal riding conditions), deemed to be 10 years.

As a result a generous panel, designed to ensure a large footprint on your horse’s back.

Therefore maximising the weight bearing surface of the saddle and resulting in a reduction in pressure and increased comfort for your horse.

A wide and even chamber, with performance panels to support your horse’s working muscles and maximise movement in their shoulder area.

Plus complementary technologies for your horse’s comfort including world-leading girthing systems.

As a result multi-layered foams of exacting densities for instantaneous comfort and support of an optimal position.

Moreover a narrow waist anatomically shaped for closer contact.

Plus complementary technologies for your comfort including world-leading stirrup bar, and systems to precision-tailor support for your riding position.

Care Instructions

Beautifully styled with meticulous attention to detail, you will turn heads in any Arena while being confident that your saddle is comfortable for you and your horse.

Looking after your saddle

Classically crafted from European leather, you will appreciate the elegance and quality of your new Arena saddle and the beauty of its natural leather*.

Any visible markings in the leather are completely normal and are a natural characteristic of the hides.

To help to keep your saddle in top condition it is important to clean and dress your saddle regularly.

We recommend dressing your saddle with a wax-based balsam prior to its first use (and regularly thereafter) as this helps to seal in the moisture and protect it from sweat, wear and tear.

*Your Arena saddle features man-made technical linings for improved resistance to wear.

If your Arena saddle is fitted with moveable knee blocks, they should be moved from their packing location (usually upside down) to suit your individual riding position prior to use.
