Thorowgood T8 High Wither Dressage Saddle has been made on a Dressage specific tree and movable under-flap thigh blocks combine to help the rider maintain a balanced dressage position.

The deeper gusseted panel ensures maximum clearance along the length of the spine, making this saddle ideal for shorter backed, high withered horses and those with wide spinal processes.

The low profile panels offer closer rider contact and three built-in girth options ensure maximum saddle stability.

Quality leather seat and knee pads give the feel of riding on an all leather saddle.

Flocked with 100% British wool.

We will put the gullet plate to suit your horse in your saddle before dispatch so all ready to ride.

Changeable Gullet

Easily change the gullet bar to best fit the width of the horse’s withers. There are seven widths of R-Bar and eight S-Bars.
The sliver XXW is not available in the R-Bar.

Step 1: Use the hex key to remove the 2 screws at the front of each panel.

Step 2: Slide the panel off the point of the tree.

Step 3: Unscrew all 4 bolts in the gullet bar and remove the gullet bar.

Step 4: Insert different width of gullet bar. Insert all 4 bolts by hand then secure.
